Andrew  |  November 21

Nov 21, 2017 … Quest Brewing Company has converted to cardboard boxes for all of its 12 oz canned products. This change will help the South Carolina microbrewery increase shelf presence and brand recognition. Quest is gearing up for more presence in the high-volume retail sector and wanted to increase marketing efforts in order to help facilitate sales growth.
“We felt like we needed to become even more environmentally-friendly after seeing sales trends once glass became non-recycled in our home market.” Quest’s Andrew Watts stated. “Our cardboard boxes are reusable and recyclable. We know our consumers care about how their purchases effect the environment.”
Quest Brewing Co. was founded in 2013 by Don Richardson and Andrew Watts in Greenville, SC. Quest has been met with much success in the four plus years of operation by garnering national attention from the likes of USA Today, Beer Advocate, and Southern Living. In 2016, Quest won a World Beer Cup Gold Medal for Ponce Cucumber Jalapeno Saison. Quest beer is currently distributed throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia in draft and 12 oz. cans.

Quest Releases Gold Medal-Winning Ponce Cans

Andrew  |  June 6

June 6, 2017 … Quest Brewing Company releases it’s 2016 World Beer Cup Gold medal winning seasonal, Ponce Cucumber Jalapeño Saison in 12 oz cans on Friday, June 9th 2017. Six packs of these 12 oz cans will be available for purchase in Quest’s tap room as well as in various retail outlets throughout Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Quest will be limiting purchases of this popular beer to one case per person (due to SC state law) at the tap room.

Juan Ponce de León’s name lives in infamy due to his legendary search for the Fountain of Youth. Native Americans believed that the fabled spring was in Bimini and could reverse aging. Ponce Cucumber Jalapeño world-class Saison is brewed with fresh cucumbers & mild jalapeños that create a unique marriage of cool & hot. Although this brew will not grant immortality, we believe it should be a reward on par with finding the Fountain of Youth.

Look for these cans at your favorite craft beer retailer shortly after this release date.

Quest Releases ‘FunkSCursion’ Sour

Andrew  |  March 30

March 30, 2017 … Quest Brewing Company releases FunkSCursion, a native, wild yeast Belgian-style sour in 12 oz cans. FunkSCursion will available in draft and cans starting on Thursday March 30th. The six packs of 12 oz cans will be available for purchase in Quest’s tap room. Quest will be limiting purchases of this rare brew to one case per person (due to SC state law) at the tap room.
Please note that FunksSCursion is not a Gose or German Sour. Quest’s Brewmaster Don Richardson created this beer with inspiration from some of his favorite Sour beers from his journeys to Belgium. However, FunkSCursion does have an American twist with Mosaic hops added to give the beer a floral aroma. The result is a complex sour unlike any brew you may have tasted.
Quest will only have this exciting new product for sale at it’s facility. Plans are in the works for future batches of FunkSCursion to distribute to craft beer retailers.
